Cracker Fly-in this weekend

GAINESVILLE - Old &#34;war birds&#34; and some strange looking airplanes as well a lot of conventional aircraft will fill the skies over Gainesville this weekend.<br> <br> The annual Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter #611 Cracker Fly-In will be held Saturday at Lee Gilmer Memorial Aircraft.<br> <br> The event annually attracts World War I and World War II vintage aircraft along with an assortment of homemade planes and conventional airplanes.<br> <br> Festivities will include aircraft judging for several different categories, food and drinks, plane rides and a full day of &#34;family fun at the airport,&#34; according to the Lanier Flight Center Web site. <br> <br> This is not an air show. The planes, when not flying, will be on public display.<br> <br> Lanier Flight Center will be conducting aerial sightseeing tours throughout the day as well as tours of its facility and airplanes.
