GAINESVILLE - A fire that destroyed a 1960s era mobile home on Conner Street in Gainesville Sunday morning may have been caused by an electrical problem.

Hall County Fire Marshal Scott Cagle said Monday the structure was being renovated and that there were a number of extension cords connected to an adjacent mobile home that were being used as a source of power. Cagle said there is nothing to indicate anything suspicious about the fire.

Cagle said Gainesville firemen assisted units from the Hall County Fire Department in battling the 10:00 blaze.
