Gainesville police searching for robbery suspects

GAINESVILLE - The search continues for three suspects in the reported robbery-beating of a man in the parking lot of a Gainesville motel over the weekend.

The victim, who did not report it until Monday, says it happened at Motel 6 on Monroe Drive about 11 o'clock Sunday morning.

Lt. Chad White says the victim reported injuries to his head and one elbow and knee.

He says the robbers left in an older model, yellow Toyota truck with black stripes on the sides
