Questionable bumper sticker a ticket to free speech fight

<p>A judge has dismissed the case of an Athens woman accused of sporting an obscene bumper sticker that contained a dig at President Bush.</p><p>Denise Grier, 47, got a $100 ticket recently after a police officer spotted the sticker reading: "I'm Tired Of All The BUSHIT."</p><p>Grier, a nurse who works at Emory University and other hospitals, was cited for violating a state law prohibiting lewd or profane stickers and decals on vehicles.</p><p>Chief Judge R. Roy Walker of the DeKalb County Recorders Court said the lewd decal law was ruled unconsitutional in 1990.</p><p>Grier contested the fine, saying the bumper sticker was simply a political statement.</p><p>___</p><p>HASH(0x1cd9adc)</p>
