CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Clemson receiver Aaron Kelly injured his knee during a practice drill Friday when he was making a cut, but the injury is not thought to be serious, the school said.
Kelly, who'll be a sophomore next fall, will have an MRI on Saturday and is not expected to play in a scrimmage Saturday at Death Valley.
His status for the rest of spring practice will be determined after the MRI.
Kelly had 47 receptions for 575 yards and two touchdowns to rank second in catches and yards. Kelly's totals were second in Clemson history among freshmen behind Derrick Hamilton in 2001.
He also led the Tigers in kickoff return yards (266) and average (26.6).
