ATLANTA - The state plans to pay for more than 23 miles of road work in Hall County under the governor's "Paving the Way Home" transportation initiative.

Statewide, more than $264 million in paving and resurfacing will be funded over the next two years.

Included on the Hall County list are city streets in Clermont, Flowery Branch, Gillsville, Lula and Gainesville.

Most of the work will be done on streets and roads in unincorporated parts of the county.
