Fire at Gainesville feed mill

GAINESVILLE - A fire at Purina Mills in Gainesville caused about $5,000 in damage Thursday morning.

Gainesville Fire Department Battalion Chief Terry Poll says it was a difficult fire to fight because of the equipment it extended into and the size of the building.

The fire, which occurred about 1:45, was in some of the equipment used to mix feed.
