BC's Dudley named ACC men's player of week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Jared Dudley, who averaged 20 points and 9.5 rebounds in two Boston College wins last week, was named the Atlantic Coast Conference men's player of the week on Monday.<br>

Clemson's Trevor Booker was named ACC rookie of the week.<br>
<br>
Dudley, a senior from San Diego, shot 73.9 percent from the field in the Eagles' (6-2, 1-0) wins over No. 23 Maryland and Fairfield, going eight-for-12 in the 73-62 ACC win over the Terps.<br>
<br>
Dudley has scored 10 or more points in 17 straight games and is fourth in the ACC in scoring, averaging 19.3 points.<br>
<br>
Booker scored a career-high 19 points in just 21 minutes in Clemson's 90-66 win over Wofford. The freshman from Whitmire, S.C., went eight-of-10 from the field and added six rebounds and a blocked shot against the Terriers.<br>
<br>
Booker has started all 10 games for the undefeated Tigers (10-0) and is averaging 9.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 65.2 percent from the floor.
