Lakeview girls snap losing streak

HIAWASSEE - Seniors Lydiann Jacobs and Nadia Muhanna dominated inside to lead the Lakeview Academy girls basketball team to 56-39 win over Glencoe County (Ala.) Saturday in the Battle of the States tournament.

Jacobs finished with 14 and Muhanna had 13 as the Lady Lions (5-6) snapped a three-game losing streak.

Janell Francis and Brooke Windle scored eight each for Lakeview.

Paige Gulledge had 16 to lead Glencoe.
