GAINESVILLE - The District Attorney for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit was sworn in Friday afternoon for his first full term.

Lee Darragh was appointed by the governor last year to replace Jason Deal when Deal received an appointment to a Superior Court judgeship.

Darragh defeated former Assistant DA Lisa Jones in July to win his first full term.

Darragh has been a Superior Court felony prosecutor for 26 years, working as an assistant DA in the Eastern Judicial Circuit and the Northeastern circuit.
