<p>Three people were killed and three others injured Saturday when a tractor-trailer plowed into a mule-drawn covered carriage that was returning from the town's yearly celebration.</p><p>The crash occurred on U.S. Hwy. 82 just outside of Alapaha, a small town in Berrien County about 15 miles southeast of Tifton.</p><p>The carriage was leaving the city's Alapaha Station Celebration, the town's annual festival.</p><p>Franklin Aubrey Joyce and Andrew Joyce were killed in the wreck, said Berrien County Sheriff Jerry Brogdon.</p><p>Authorities said John Joyce, 76, of Enigma, died later at Tift Regional Medical Center.</p><p>Abigail Joyce, 2, and Kimberly Joyce, 24, both of Enigma, were listed in critical condition. Lynda Harnage of Tifton was treated and released.</p><p>"This is a sad day in Berrien County," Brogdon said. "Everyone knew the Joyces and looked forward to seeing them and their wagon in the parade each year."</p>
