Virginia Tech knocks off Clemson, 24-7

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Branden Ore shredded Clemson for 203 yards rushing yards and two touchdowns and Virginia Tech held the tenth-ranked Tigers to 76 yards in the last three quarters Thursday night in the Hokies' 24-to-7 upset win.
Virginia Tech is 6-and-2. It was beaten soundly in its last two A-C-C games by Georgia Tech and Boston College but dominated the Tigers in this one.
Clemson fell 7-and-2.
Ore carried a career-high 37 times for his second consecutive 200-yard performance. He had 207 five days earlier in a rout of Southern Mississippi.
