Hearing next week for Gainesville area transportation plan

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville area's six-year transportation plan will be up for public discussion next week.

The hearing will be conducted by the Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Organizaiton on the federally-mandated Gainesville-Hall Transportation Study.

The group has to adopt a Transportation Improvement Program that details transportation projects funded over the next six years, in this instance through 2011.

The meeting will be at 5:30 next Tuesday at the Georgia Mountains Center.
