JEFFERSON - The Jefferson City Council Monday is scheduled to consider a $200 million project that could create about 3,000 new jobs.

Atlanta-based Cousins Properties is behind the project which would involve a 307-acre industrial park and a 24-acre commercial component.

The site is on Hog Mountain Road at the Damon Gause Bypass.

The industrial park would consist of up to a dozen buildings with a total of about 3 million square feet.
