Hendrix suspended indefinitely following arrest in Georgia

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) A University of Tennessee basketball player from Georgia has been suspended indefinitely after being arrested on a drug charge in his home town.<br> <br> Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl said yesterday that Jemere Hendrix was off the team. He said he was disappointed in the decisions Hendrix has made and that he&#39;s NOT lived up to the school&#39;s expectations for student-athletes.<br> <br> The senior forward was charged with marijuana possession and driving without a license last month in Covington.<br> <br> Hendrix was arrested August 13.<br> <br> Hendrix, who is from Covington, walked on at Tennessee after leaving Clemson with a foot injury in 2002.
