TOCCOA - Bracing for a new round of hurricane evacuees, the Georgia Department of Human Resources plans to open shelters in Toccoa and three other cities.

Hundreds of thousands are fleeing the Texas and Louisiana coasts in anticipation of Hurricane Rita.

In addition to Toccoa, the agency is opening shelters in Columbus and Augusta.

Department of Human Resources shelters in Eatonton and Moultrie are still in operation from Katrina relief efforts.
