Reigning Cup champion Kurt Busch leaving Roush Racing

CONCORD, N.C. (AP) Reigning Nextel Cup champion Kurt Busch has told Roush Racing he&#39;s signed with another team for 2007 and has asked to be released from his 2006 contract.<br> <br> It&#39;s not immediately clear who Busch has signed with but Penske and Dale Earnhardt Incorporated both have cars coming open next season.<br> <br> Busch stands fifth in this year&#39;s Nextel Cup standings, 277 points behind leader Tony Stewart.<br> <br> He&#39;s one of five Nextel Cup drivers racing for Roush this season, joining Mark Martin, Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards.<br> <br> (Copyright 2005 by The Associated Press.
