Celtics sign Georgia Tech's Will Bynum

BOSTON (AP) The Boston Celtics signed Will Bynum, a free agent guard from Georgia Tech, on Friday.<br> <br> The 6-foot-0, 185-pound Bynum played on the Celtics&#39; summer league team, averaging 4.2 points and 2.7 assists in six appearances.<br> <br> Bynum averaged 9.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 101 career games at Georgia Tech. He helped lead the Yellow Jackets to the NCAA championship game as a junior, and scored a tournament record 35 points in the semifinals of the ACC tournament as a senior.<br> <br> He spent the first two years of his college career at Arizona, where he averaged 6.6 points in 39 games.<br> <br> The team did not disclose terms of the deal.<br> <br> (Copyright 2005 by The Associated Press.
