Rapper Gucci Mane has been arrested again, this time in Miami for an Atlanta assault warrant, his attorney said Wednesday.

Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis, was arrested Friday by Miami authorities on an outstanding Atlanta police warrant accusing him of aggravated assault, said attorney Dennis Scheib. Mane is expected to be extradited back to Atlanta later this week.

The warrant stems from an altercation earlier this month between a promoter and people at Mane's record label, Big Cat Records, earlier this month. The promoter was injured and later filed a complaint with police. But Mane was not involved in the fight, Scheib said.

"It's just bogus," Scheib said of the assault charge, adding that his client would have voluntarily turned himself in to authorities if they had been notified of the warrant.

Mane previously was arrested in May on a murder charge in the May 10 shooting death of Henry Clark. Scheib said the 25-year-old acted in self-defense. Scheib said that case has been put on hold until October, pending a new investigation by authorities.

In that incident, five men entered a DeKalb condominium where Mane was visiting and exchanged gunfire with Mane before the men escaped. It is believed that Clark was one of the five men who confronted Mane, Scheib said.

In May, the same day the rapper was released on bond, his debut album "Trap House," was released. Mane also is known for the song, "Black Tee."
