``Matt Luke has done a tremendous job and is very deserving of this promotion,'' head coach Ed Orgeron said. ``This will strengthen our staff as Matt works with (running game coordinator) George DeLeone, who is one of the finest offensive line coaches in all of college football.''<br>

Luke, a captain at tight end on the Rebels' 1998 team, is in his fourth year on the Ole Miss staff. He is the only member of David Cutcliffe's staff who was retained by Orgeron. Luke also is the recruiting coordinator and will work with the tight ends in his new job.<br>
