Gainesville fly-in Saturday

GAINESVILLE - From old warbirds to home-built craft, planes of all description will descend on Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville Saturday for the 37th Annual Cracker Fly-In.

Starting at 7:30 and continuing through 4:00, there will be exhibits, airplane rides, food, drink and aviation-related activities.

Up to 200 pilots from all over the southeast are expected in town for the event with judging for awards in several categories.

It's open to the public at no charge is sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter #611.
