Spencer Britt Martin - the founder and coach of an independent girls' fast-pitch softball team in the northeast georgia county - was booked into jail in Jefferson on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of children. He was released on $50,000 bond late last week.
Authorities charged the 32-year-old Martin on June 24th with four counts of child molestation, four counts of cruelty to children and three counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes.
The Athens Banner-Herald reports he did not return a telephone call seeking comment.
Authorities searched Martin's home before he was arrested in June as part of an ongoing investigation. They seized the computer and sent it to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Crime Lab.
Sheriff's Major David Cochran said there were probably 100 images on the computer. He said authorities selected 10 to charge him with.
Authorities say the investigation is continuing.
