Doyle, Nelson share fifth place in Senior Players Championship

DEARBORN, MICHIGAN - Allen Doyle of LaGrange shot a closing 68 and Larry Nelson of Marietta had a 69 as the pair of Georgians tied for fifth place in the Champions-For Senior Players Championship at Dearborn, Michigan.<br> <br> Both players finished with 278 totals, five shots behind the winner, Peter Jacobsen, who closed with a 66 to drop Hale Irwin into a second place finish at 274.<br> <br> Doyle and Nelson each earned $87,500 from the $2.5 million purse.
