Perkins wins seat on Buford school board

BUFORD - The top vote-getter three weeks ago won a runoff for a seat on the Buford school board Tuesday.
Daren Perkins bested Ted Pugh by a 33-vote margin, 277-244.
He will fill the unexpired term of Steve Merritt who died in March.
There are two years remaining in the term.
