UNDATED (AP) There's still no resolution to Larry Brown's status with the Detroit Pistons for next year.
Brown's agent spoke by phone with Detroit president Joe Dumars today in an attempt to settle the issue. Agent Joe Glass says he expects something will get done shortly, but wouldn't be more specific on a timetable.
Brown has had complications from hip surgery in November, and had indicated he wouldn't want to coach again in his current condition.
The Pistons are believed to be pressing for a mutually agreeable fallback plan in the event Brown has to step away from coaching during next season.
