Brown's status still up in the air

UNDATED (AP) There&#39;s still no resolution to Larry Brown&#39;s status with the Detroit Pistons for next year.<br> <br> Brown&#39;s agent spoke by phone with Detroit president Joe Dumars today in an attempt to settle the issue. Agent Joe Glass says he expects something will get done shortly, but wouldn&#39;t be more specific on a timetable.<br> <br> Brown has had complications from hip surgery in November, and had indicated he wouldn&#39;t want to coach again in his current condition.<br> <br> The Pistons are believed to be pressing for a mutually agreeable fallback plan in the event Brown has to step away from coaching during next season.<br> <br> (AP Story)
