Delta flight from Atlanta makes emergency landing

<p>A Delta airlines flight en route from Atlanta to New York City made an emergency landing here Wednesday night after a warning light turned on in the cockpit, airport officials said.</p><p>Delta Flight 222 landed safely around 8:15 p.m. None of the 154 passengers and crew members was injured, Richmond International Airport spokesman Troy Bell said.</p><p>Firefighters were examining the Boeing 767, but had "not found anything of concern," Bell said. The plane was expected to stay grounded at the airport overnight pending an investigation, he said.</p><p>The passengers boarded another Delta jet already at the Richmond airport and continued their flight to LaGuardia, Delta spokeswoman Katie Connell said.</p>
