Downtown Winder traffic shift

WINDER - A traffic shift is expected Thurday as the reconstruction of State Route 11 from Stephens Street to Shenandoah Drive in downtown Winder continues.

Work will continue on the project throughout the summer, 24 hours a day, according to Georgia Department of Transportation District Engineer Russell McMurry.

McMurry says although most of the work will occur overnight, during the day grading will take place as crews prepare for the nightly concrete pours.
