Lakeview team advances to Georgia Parks and Rec semifinals

CARROLLTON - Lakeview Academy, representing Hall County in the Georgia Parks and Recreation 14-and-under State Baseball Championship, advanced to the semifinals Thursday.<br> <br> After losing the opening game to a strong local Carrollton team, Lakeview won their next two games 14-0 and 12-2 behind strong pitching from Tyler Ward and Houghton Carswell.<br> <br> Ralston Cash and Brett Armour provided the offensive support with home runs.<br> <br> Lakeview plays Friday at noon at Lakeshore Park in Carrollton.
