Leggett says he'll stay at Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Clemson coach Jack Leggett says he&#39;s staying with the Tigers after taking his name out of the running for openings at Oklahoma and Texas A<br> <br> Leggett discussed the jobs at both schools, but did not formally interview for the positions. ``I&#39;m going to stay here,&#39;&#39; Leggett said. ``I&#39;m going to work this thing out. It&#39;s a great place, a good young team and a great place for me right now.&#39;&#39;<br> <br> Clemson senior associate athletic director Dwight Rainey said the school and Leggett have agreed on the framework for a contract extension, although nothing has been signed yet. Leggett has two years left on a five-year deal.<br> <br> Leggett had made four trips to the College World Series in his 12 seasons at Clemson.<br> <br> (Copyright 2005 by The Associated Press.
