Michelin offers refunds for U-S Grand Prix

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) If you went to the U-S Grand Prix, you can get your money back.<br> <br> Michelin is offering to refund money to those who bought tickets for the Formula One race earlier this month. Seven F-One teams withdrew from the race after the company decided its tires were unsafe at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Only six cars ran.<br> <br> Michelin also says it will buy 20-thousand tickets for the 2006 race, and those will be given to people who attended this month&#39;s race.<br> <br> The company&#39;s statement says, ``Michelin deeply regrets that the public was deprived of an exciting race and therefore wishes to be the first, among the different groups involved in the Indianapolis race, to make a strong gesture towards the spectators.&#39;&#39;<br> <br> (From AP)
