Centenary basketball player found dead

SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA - The leading scorer and rebounder on the Centenary basketball team this season was found dead in his dormitory room.<br> <br> Authorities say 22-year-old Chad Maclies was apparently talking with his girlfriend over his computer Tuesday, when he suddenly stopped. After no one had heard from him for several hours, friends went to his room and found him lying on the floor and alerted authorities, according to a spokesman for the local Fire Department.<br> <br> A police spokeswoman says paramedics attempted to revive him but Maclies was unresponsive and there was no sign of foul play or forced entry. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
