'Support Our Troops' rally planned in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE - Plans are being finalized for Gainesville's Memorial Day observance.

The 3rd Annual Memorial Day Parade will be held that morning and will be followed by a Support Our Troops rally.

The rally will be held at Roosevelt Square in downtown Gainesville from noon-6:00.

Proceeds raised from a number of activities during the rally will be used to help send "care packages" to military personnel.
