The autograph sessions, which also will feature other drag racing legends such as Hubert Platt, Dan Storey, Tom Long, Ron Hope, and Dave Hough, will be held at the 25th anniversary Celebration Center, conveniently located in the track's spectator midway.
Two legendary race cars will be on display in the Celebration Center: Storey's Georgia Shaker Super Stock Ford Mustang, which Platt drove in the 1960s, and a '32 Ford Tudor Sedan, complete with full race flathead engine, which will offer fans a glimpse of the cars that competed during drag racing's early days.
For fans of nostalgia drag racing, the wildly unpredictable fuel altereds will make exhibition runs each day. Hope will race his Rat Trap fuel altered against Hough's NanNook car.
The 25th anniversary festivities also will include a spectacular fireworks show Friday night and a skydiving exhibition Sunday morning during the pre-race ceremony.
