Mark Martin wins Nextel All-Star Challenge

CONCORD, N.C. - Mark Martin won the 21st NASCAR Nextel All-Star Challenge and one-point-one (M) million first prize. This is Martin's final season in Nextel Cup racing.

Elliott Sadler ran second, followed by Brian Vickers, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson rounding out the top five.

Ryan Newman started from the pole, but was involved in an accident early in the final segment. Kevin Harvick was in the middle of an eleven-car accident that brought out the red flag during lap 36 of the first segment.

Actress Pamela Anderson and John Walsh of ''America's Most Wanted'' T-V were are in the audience at the NASCAR All-Star event.
