Corps of Engineers' rangers are among those gearing up for another busy season.
Ranger Chris Arthur notes the lake is full and says that always means a busy summer.
Arthur says the most common violation each summer on Lake Lanier is probably disregard of the 100-foot no-wake rule which is in place around docks, swim areas and other boats.
One other note about Lake Lanier and the agencies that look after people in, on or around it: the Hall County Fire Department on Wednesday will christen a new fire/rescue boat for use on the lake.
