Harvard's Chu wins in singles and doubles in NCAA tennis

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) Unseeded Jonathan Chu of Harvard won in singles and doubles at the NCAA tennis quarterfinals on Saturday.<br> <br> Chu beat No. 3 seed Jessie Whitten of Kentucky 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (6), and less than four hours later, teamed with Ashwin Kumar to beat Auburn&#39;s Alex Schwiezer and Gabor Zoltan 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.<br> <br> Chu is the first player since David Martin of Stanford in 2002 to advance to the semifinals in singles and doubles.<br> <br> ``I&#39;d be lying if I said I expected to get this far in singles,&#39;&#39; Chu said. ``It&#39;s like a dream come true right now for me, and I&#39;m just trying to enjoy every moment. Hopefully, I can take this momentum and keep going with it.&#39;&#39;<br> <br> Old Dominion&#39;s Izak van der Merwe pulled off his third upset in four days to advance to the semifinals with a 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 win over UCLA&#39;s Benjamin Kohlloeffel.<br> <br> Georgia&#39;s top-seeded doubles team of John Isner and Antonio Ruiz defeated Marko Jajevac and David North of Georgia Tech 6-3, 6-2.<br> <br> Stanford&#39;s Sam Warburg and K.C.
