ARCADE - The Quad Cities Planning Commission declined to make a recommendation, so the Arcade City Council is now expected to hear rezoning and annexation requests that could open the door to a 2,400-home development.

According to the Norton Agency's Native Intelligence Market Watch, the council is scheduled to hear a proposal April 11 to rezone nearly 1,300 acres off U.S. Highway 129.

Lawrenceville-based Brand Partners LP proposes a development that includes houses, office space, 35 acres of retail space and recreational facilities, including a golf course.
