No storm damage reported in Hall

GAINESVILLE - There have been no reports of damage in Hall County so far from those severe thunderstorms that pounded our area early Thursday evening.

Sharp lightning, torrential rains and some hail accompanied the storms which struck about 6:30.

At one point, rain was falling at the rate of four inches per hour. Rainfall from the showers Thursday night and Thursday morning totaled .72, according to the accessnorthga.com Weather Center.

The Weather Channel's Kristin Kline says more thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon.
