Redan knocks off McEachern in AAAAA semifinals

DULUTH - Porsha Phillips scored 24 points and Anelia Murray added 15 as Redan took a 56-to-61 overtime win over McEachern in a Class Five-A girls semifinal Thursday.<br> <br> Murray scored the first two buckets in overtime for the Lady Raiders (23-8), who opened the extra period with an 8-and-2 run.<br> <br> Jordan Jones scored 13 points, including three free throws with four seconds left in regulation that pulled McEachern (26-5) even after trailing the entire game.<br> <br> Redan goes for its first state title tomorrow against either Stephenson or Collins Hill.
