Dade County advances to AA finals

MACON - All-state guard Ashley Houts scored 21 points to lead No. 3 Dade County to a 49-39 win over No. 4 Dodge County in the semifinals of the GHSA Class AA girls playoffs Thursday.<br> <br> Dade County will play the winner of the Wesleyan-Dublin game for the championship on Saturday.<br> <br> Houts had two crucial 3-pointers in the second half as the Wolverines (27-3) broke open a close game with an 8-0 run to finish the third period. Brittany Alsobrook added 13 points for Dade.<br> <br> Dodge County (23-3) was led by Mercer signee Tashera Lewis, who had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Kimberly Gay added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Squaws.
