BUFORD - Investigators are keeping any new information into the murders of a Buford brother and sister earlier this week to themselves, but have carefully questioned the nephew of the victims who found the bodies.

"Since we know, according to his statement, that he was in the house on the evening when the deaths presumably occurred, then certainly we want to verify his whereabouts and his actions," Gwinnett County District Attorney Danny Porter told Georgia News Network. "He claims that he went to his mother's house and did some laundry and, we will try to verify that and verify the possibility it may have been done to conceal evidence."

The nephew, who sometimes lived with the victims, found the bodies Monday afternoon.

Lavadar Chambers, 76, and William Marsingill, 78, who were stabbed to death, will be buried Friday.
