Gainesville woman named to state commission

ATLANTA - The newest member of the Georgia Student Finance Commission is from Hall County.<br>

Pat Burd was named to the post by Governor Perdue.<br>
<br>
She will serve as the 10th Congressional District Representative on the board.<br>
<br>
Burd recently retired as a middle school counselor for the Hall County School System.
