350 jobs open at Lake Lanier Islands

ATLANTA - A job fair will be held Friday and Saturday for more than 350 seasonal and year-round openings at Lake Lanier Islands.<br> <br> Sponsored by the South Hall resort and the state Department of Labor&#39;s Gwinnett Career Center, the job fair will be held at the Holiday Pavilion at the Islands from 4:00-7:00 Friday and 11:00-3:00 Saturday.<br> <br> Job openings are available for the beach and water park, front gate, public safety, campgrounds, retail trade, catering, harbor landing, equestrian center, hotel and golf course.<br> <br> Applicants must be 16 years old, provide a Social Security number and identification, dress appropriately and be prepared to interview.<br> <br> &#34;This job fair provides an excellent opportunity for youth and adults to get a part-time job for the summer or full-time employment,&#34; said state Labor Commissioner Michael Thurmond.
