Riverside whips Dominion, awaits region seedings

The Riverside Military Academy tennis team beat Dominion Christian Wednesday 4-1 and improved to 6-1 on the season.<br> <br> At No. 1 singles, RMA&#39;s Penn Swindle whipped Terry Kim of Dominion 10-2. At No. 2 singles, Gavin Senior of RMA won 10-4 over Everett Smith. Evan Mistr of RMA sealed the match with a 10-0 win over Matt Keyt of Dominion at No. 3 singles.<br> <br> Riverside&#39;s No. 1 doubles team of John Woodhams and LaBruce Miller won 11-9 over Matt Jackson and Stephen Van Gorp in a tight match.<br> <br> RMA&#39;s Alex Kahn and Joseph Hobby lost to Jared LaCroix and Michael Lindberg of Dominion 10-7 at No. 2 doubles.<br> <br> Riverside completed its region schedule and now must await the Region 1AAA Tournament to determine the top four region players in both singles and doubles at the State Individual Tournament at ABAC in Tifton on April 18th.
