Falcons drop 7-AAA opener to Fannin

BLUE RIDGE - The Flowery Branch baseball team dropped its Region 7-AAA opener Wednesday 9-3 to Fannin County on the road.<br> <br> The Rebels (7-2, 1-0 in region) got four runs in the first inning off Falcons starter D.J. Duden and cruised to the win.<br> <br> Duden allowed 13 hits and walked one while striking out two in going the distance for Flowery branch (4-6, 0-1).<br> <br> Craig Anderson and Devin Reed each had doubles for the Falcons.
