North Hall sweeps home meet

MURRAYVILLE - The North Hall boys and girls track team swept a meet against Lumpkin County and Gainesville Wednesday.<br> <br> The Lady Trojans won 67 points to Gainesville&#39;s 47 and Lumpkin County&#39;s 40.<br> <br> The boys won a dual meet against Lumpkin County.<br> <br> Winners for the North Hall girls were Krista Palmer in the triple-jump; Emily Palmer in the discus; Sarah Cassady in the 3,200-meter; Susan Harper in the 400-meter; Michelle Lee in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles; and the 400 and 1,600-meter relay teams won.<br> <br> Winners for the North Hall boys were Lamoris Burton in the triple-jump and long jump; Casey Hall in the high jump; Wake Fickey in the shot put; Ben Filchak in the pole vault; Grant Russell in the 3,200; Bert Harrison in the 1,600; Johnny Jimenez in the 800-meter; Joe Gardner in the 110 and 300 hurdles; Austin Campbell in the 200; and the 400 and 1,600-meter relay teams also won.
