Deputy, another man killed in Douglas County shooting

<p>A deputy has died after being shot in the head in a shooting that also killed another man.</p><p>The deputy, whose name was not released, was brought to Atlanta Medical Center in critical condition Thursday night following the shooting.</p><p>The incident began when authorities went to a home in Douglas County just south of Interstate 20 to serve a search and arrest warrant against Jimmy Bilbo, a former Douglas County deputy who was accused last year of child molestation.</p><p>Authorities had secured the home when Bilbo's stepfather appeared out of a back room and opened fire. Authorities returned fire, killing Bilbo's stepfather, whose name was not immediately released.</p><p>Bilbo had been free on bond but authorities had developed other leads in the investigation and were about to file new charges.</p>
