MACON, Ga. (AP) Jacob Skogen scored 30 points and hit a tie-breaking 3-pointer late in the game to help Mercer beat Troy 105-101 Monday night.<br>

The Bears (11-7, 7-5 Atlantic Sun Conference) avenged a 97-to-70 drubbing at Troy on Jan. 21 and snapped a three-game losing streak.<br>

Skogen, who was 7-of-10 from 3-point range, scored 20 in the second half of a game that featured 10 lead changes and eight ties.<br>
<br>
Mercer jumped out to a 36-26 lead midway through the first half, only to see Troy (9-12, 7-5) go on a 12-0 run and take the lead, 38-36, with just under six minutes left.<br>
<br>
The Bears led 52-48 at halftime. Skogen's seventh trey of the night broke the fifth tie of the second half and gave Mercer the lead for good at 94-91.<br>

Mercer pushed the lead to seven with 1:13 to play, but the Trojans cut it to two with just four seconds left. Will Emerson, who hit two free throws to ice the game, added 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Wesley Duke scored 18 for Mercer.<br>

Bobby Dixon paced Troy with 28 points, 17 in the first half, and Jacob Hazouri added 24.
