CONWAY, S.C. (AP) Pele Paelay scored 23 points and pulled down nine rebounds as Coastal Carolina beat VMI 75-70 on Saturday.<br> <br> Paelay went 8-of-17 shooting, and Jack Leasure added 20, including three 3-pointers, for the Chanticleers (7-14, 4-5 Big South Conference), who took a 41-35 halftime lead. Clint Nagel and Noah Nichols each had eight points.<br> <br> VMI was led by Reggie Williams, who went 6-of-12 shooting for 18 points and six rebounds. Preston Beverly added 15 points and Tim Allmond had 11 for the Keydets (5-13), who are winless in eight conference games.<br> <br> Coastal Carolina outrebounded VMI 37-25.
