SPLOST meetings on tap Monday

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville Board of Education and Hall County Board of Commissioners have meetings planned Monday dealing with Special Purpose Local Option Sales Taxes (SPLOSTS).

The school board meeting is at 5:00 p.m. at Gainesville Middle School and the SPLOST item is one of several on a work session agenda.

Superintendent Steve Ballowe is scheduled to report on the SPLOST III/Construction Timeline: Goal 3, Objective 6.

At 5:30, at the Gainesville Civic Center, the county commission hosts a Town Hall Meeting at which information will be given updating projects funded in the county by SPLOST IV and SPLOST V.
